SALSARITA’S OF MONROE, NC DONATES 100% TO TURNING POINT
On Wednesday, March 23rd, Salsarita’s in Monroe, NC hosted a 100% Donation Day, in which 100% of all proceeds were donated directly to Turning Point. Turning Point is an organization that provides an immediate safe haven for women and their children who are fleeing domestic violence. Additionally, Turning Point provides advocacy for child abuse and sexual abuse victims.
At their 100% Donation Day for Turning Point, Salsarita’s of Monroe raised over $2,500 in proceeds. This was the fourth year franchisee Casey Holzman has hosted this event; over the course of the past three years, they’ve raised over $11,000, making a grand total of over $13,500 raised for Turning Point from this event.
As anthropologist Margaret Mead once said, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” Great job, Monroe team–we’re proud of everything you do for the community!
