Salsarita’s Franchising, LLC (“Salsarita’s”) is committed to protecting your privacy when you visit us online. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share the information you provide when you visit our websites (the “Sites”). It also explains how you can get information or express concerns about the Sites.

By visiting or using the Sites, you give us your consent to collect, use, store, and share your information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not consent, then do not use our Sites.

Information We Collect

We collect personally identifiable information (“PII”), such as your name, physical address, email address, and telephone number, and non-personally identifiable information (“non-PII”), such as your gender, birth date, and interests, when you voluntarily provide that information to us. This may occur, for example, when you participate in our Cantina Club, make a general inquiry, complete a customer survey, or inquire about a franchising opportunity. (Please note that Givex, which administers our Cantina Club, has its own Privacy Policy, accessible when you visit the Cantina Club.)

We may collect by automated means certain non-PII, such as your IP address; your computer or mobile device operating system, browser type, and identifier; the addresses of websites that refer you to our Sites, and the pages you visit on our Sites.

We may share your PII with our franchisees, store operators, and outside service providers such as marketing, mailing, and IT vendors and contest and reward program administrators that have agreed to follow our Privacy Policy in handling this information. We may retain the PII and other information that you provide to us, but we do not currently sell this information to any third parties.

We may use the non-PII we collect from and about you to provide products and services to you, to develop new products, to develop, review, and improve our services to you, to offer you customized content and advertising, and to address problems. We may also use non-PII in other ways as described to you at the point of collecting the information. We may retain or share non-PII with third parties.

In addition, we may combine PII with non-PII to provide you with future services and offers and to personalize your experience on our Sites. You may always choose to opt out of accepting these services and offers.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to disclose your PII as needed to satisfy any law or regulation, to protect the interests of Salsarita’s, and to preserve the integrity of the Sites. In addition, if, in the normal course of our business, any entity acquires us or any of our assets, then any information we have collected about you may be transferred to that entity. If any bankruptcy or reorganization proceeding is brought by or against us, then any information we have collected about you may be sold or transferred to third parties as an asset of ours. In that case, we will make all reasonable efforts to ensure that the transferee abides by this Privacy Policy.

Cookies and Pixel Tags

Salsarita’s takes special precautions with children’s privacy, and we have developed privacy practices in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”).

We do not actively seek PII about children under the age of 13, and our Sites are not intended for use by children younger than 13. If you are a parent or guardian of a child younger than 13 and believe that child has disclosed his or her PII to us, you may contact us to review and request the deletion of that information, using the contact information below.

Information Security

Salsarita’s has security policies and practices in place to protect your PII against unauthorized access or disclosure, theft, misuse, and loss. We make every effort to ensure the integrity of all of our policies, practices, and systems for handling this information, but we cannot guarantee our security measures. We will update these measures as new technologies become available and as appropriate.
